Frequent questions to DAM
 


Who can attend DAM?

Participants attending for the medium and executive verification service and further training are basically delegated by the responsible verification authorities of the Federal States (Bundesländer). These participants need not pay any fees.

In principle participation of third persons in the above courses is possible against a fee. The events organised by DAM especially for third parties (e.g. seminars for accredited test centres, international workshops etc.) are basically open for anyone who might be interested. In particular cases DAM, for didactical reasons, will however reserve the right of demanding specific qualiification as a prerequisite for participation.

Wich are the financing institutions of DAM?

Costs arising from the implementation of the Academy Agreement are shared among the responsible state authorities of the 16 Federal States.

The Free State of Bavaria pays 10% as basic amount. The resr is appotioned to the Federal States in accordance with the so-called "Köningsteiner Schlüssel".

Costs for events organised for third parties must therefore be covered by fees or other financial contributions.

How does DAM cover its costs?

 

About one half of the annual expenses of DAM (at present ca. 600,000.00 EUR/year is covered by fees or financial contributions. The other half is shared among the Federal States in accordance with the Academy Agreement.
