In addition DAM holds workshops for participants from developing countries. These workshops have the objective to familiarize the staff of the respective national verification authorities with selected fields of metrology. Usually they take one or two weeks and include theoretical and practical training.

DAM co-operates in technical projects in the field of "Metrology, standardization, testing and quality assurance (MSTQ)" with Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt and Organisation Internationale de Métrologie Legale (OIML).
